Consider the following:. I have a process that has a Gateway with 4 branches. This process has an XML variables called xmldata that is considered to the be the 'master'.
Each branch of the gateway has a user task. Each user task form has it's form data set to xmldata in it's properties. When the user task is complete, I need to extract specific parts of the XML from the completed form data and insert it back into the 'master'. I wrote a DSC to do this. It's a lot easier than doing this XML manipulation in Workbench. The DSC takes the 'master' xml, the form results, and returns a new version of the 'master'. When all routes of the gateway are complete, the actions of each of the 8 users should be reconciled with the 'master' XMLI don't know enough details about the threadedness, concurrency or asynchronous nature of LiveCycle.
Is it possible that I could be in the middle of executing the DSC for extracting the XML in a branch when another DSC starts, leading to an overlapping of the process XML updates? Hi there,Each time I save my form the form data from the recording in Workbench shows the following tags being saved. The contents of the FSAPPLICATIONDATA tag contain a huge amount of seemingly meaningless data that is not used for anything. Each time I save this data is increased, often doubling the size of the xml to a point where the system cannont handle it and crashes. Can anyone tell me how to prevent this data being submitted? Thanks,Kieran. Hi,I am invoking the process via email and its working fine for all the users but its not wrking for few users who are all in the partculer domain.for example, We have two domains domain1 and domain2.
This is wrking for domain1 users and not for domain2 users. This is also wrking for outside users when i add the name in defautdom and all the domain users also can able to invoke the process via adobe workspace. But when domain2 users are trying to invoke the process from their mail then i am getting the following error message.com.adobe.idp.dsc.DSCRuntimeException: None of the Auth Provider could authenticate the user. Authentication FailedI used complete task to invoke the process via mail and the mail id which is created and added in the complete task also in domain2. Please let me know if you have any ideas for this issue.Version - Adobe LC ES2 and Adobe Reader 10Thanks,Dhiyane.
Are there any SQL Server database example applications for LiveCycle workbench? I am looking for things that are downloadable for free.A complete example where someone used a form to modify a table in a well-known database such as 'Northwind' or whatever or a very simple home-made databse would be nice.I use Version 10.0.2.x.y.z and 2012 SQL Server MS but I have access to 2008 R2 SQL Server MS.Any useful web link would be appreciated.I tried to 'Google' this myself, but nothing useful appeared in my particular search as of July 2013. Hi,when I just wanted to remove an application, the workbench warned me that there is one application that has dependencies on it. Because I knew there shouldn't be any, I searched through the processes but found nothing. When I looked at the processdependency files I saw that there is one process listing a subprocess of the other application, named invoke9.I went to the process in the editor two more times and even searched the.process xml file but there is no such subprocess. Is there a way to remove this dependency or let livecycle rebuild the dependencies or whatever?
I learned from the past that editing xml files mostly result in corrupted processes the editor won't open anymore. In this case however it seems that livecycle just ignores the changes (I removed the dependency in the xml) and reverts the file. Thanks for your help!Regards,Philipp. Hi,I have a process which at the moment requires me to state the version of the LCA file (currently being hardcoded) this process is currently in. We regularly increment/change the LCA version number as when required and hence when we do so, we would need to manually tweak the value in this process to correspond with the latest LCA version number.
With this method, there is the regular risk of forgetting / overlooking stating the correct version of the LCA file in this process. Is there any activity/ function that we can call to automatically grab the current version of the LCA, a particular process is in?Thanks. Hi All,I have a Submit button in a PDF, on click of that button I am calling a LiveCycle process.
On click of Submit a popup is coming up saying 'Remote Service Authentication' and asking to input credentials. The Livecycle process gets invoked if i input my credentials.Could anyone please let me know why this popup is coming?
Please let me know if there is anyway if i can disable this popup. I have changed the 'Run As' security setting in Admin UI for the process i am invoking.I noticed one more behaviour that, my colleague is not getting the popup when he is doing the same procedure from his machine.
Only the trust setting 'Trust document always' on top of the PDF is appearing. Could anyone let me know if this because of proxy? Thanks in advance. My intention is to save a complete PDF form into a database and then later on retrieve this form from DB.To do this, SQL Server has got two datatypes, image or Varbinary(max). I am able to store a PDF using 'Execute SQL Statement'(I have written an Insert statement). Some value is being written into DB as well. But when I try to retrieve this record using 'Query Single Row'(I store the result to a doc variable), the retrieved PDF is of an unknown type and cannot be opened by Adobe Reader.I am not sure if my approach is correct.
Is it possible to store/retrieve a PDF form to/from a DB through LiveCycle? If yes, please give me some guidance.
